Marta is my cousin. We’ve known each other since the day she was born, and I’ve always felt a deep connection with her. Recently, she married Juanse, a kind and warm-hearted man, also from Colombia. Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend their wedding, but I promised myself that I would create something special for them when we had the chance to meet here in Europe.

That moment finally arrived at the end of summer 2025. Marta and Juanse decided to visit me in Austria, right after Juanse’s incredible achievement at the IronMan in Barcelona. We were all in a celebratory mood, and since they were spending some time with me, I suggested a casual photo session around the city.

We wandered through the streets together, exploring historic corners and quiet alleys, sharing stories and laughter along the way. While photographing them, I also showed them a bit of Austria, its rich history, remarkable architecture, and the charm that makes it feel timeless. The day felt effortless: we talked, we laughed, we wandered, and we took photos that captured not just moments, but the warmth and connection between them.

Marta and Juanse are an extraordinary couple; affectionate, loving, and full of faith. Their joy and openness made the session feel natural and full of life. I loved seeing the way they interact, the subtle gestures, the quiet smiles, and the energy that surrounds them as a couple.

It was an honor to capture these memories, a casual summer afternoon in Austria that celebrates not only their relationship but also the joy of being together. I’m truly grateful to have shared this time with them, and I hope these images carry a piece of that day with them wherever they go.

With love,

Eric
